You do not need fluent Spanish to share your faith. You need a handful of sentences said with love, a few verses you can point to, and the willingness to pray with someone in whatever mix of languages you have.
This guide is those three things, in order.
Better than your own words: open the Bible together. These pages carry each verse in Spanish and English with real audio, so you can even let the recording do the reading:
Every lesson is a Reina-Valera verse, modernized to Latin American Spanish, read aloud by a real voice, explained word by word, closing in a short reflection. The first lesson is free.
Try a Free LessonKeep it a question, not a script: "¿Quiere recibir a Cristo?" (would you like to receive Christ?) or, softer, "¿Puedo orar por usted?" (may I pray for you?). Almost no one refuses prayer.
A simple prayer to pray together, phrase by phrase: "Señor Jesús, te necesito. Perdona mis pecados. Entra en mi corazón. Amén." Lord Jesus, I need you. Forgive my sins. Come into my heart. Amen.
If a mission trip is what brings you here, the companion guide covers the practical layer: mission trip Spanish, the phrases that actually matter.
El evangelio. To share the gospel is compartir el evangelio, and the five-sentence version starts with the words every believer should know first: Dios le ama, God loves you.
"¿Quiere recibir a Cristo?": would you like to receive Christ? If that feels too direct for the moment, "¿Puedo orar por usted?" (may I pray for you?) opens the same door more gently.
John 3:16: Porque de tal manera amó Dios al mundo. It is the verse Spanish-speaking believers know best, so it meets people at something familiar, and our page plays it aloud in Spanish so you do not have to read it alone.
Not the right moment? Leave your email and I’ll send you the first lesson, free. It’s one short verse, read aloud by a native speaker, and it takes about five minutes. It’ll be waiting whenever you have a quiet moment.
