The morning verse. Congregations say it in both languages every Sunday, and it may be the easiest full verse in this collection to commit to memory.

Here it is in the Reina-Valera with the English underneath, read aloud by a real voice at full speed and slow.

Common questions

How do you say this is the day the Lord has made in Spanish?+

"Este es el día que hizo Jehová." The verse continues: "nos gozaremos y alegraremos en él", we will rejoice and be glad in it.

What is the difference between gozarse and alegrarse?+

Both mean to rejoice. Gozarse is deep joy, from gozo; alegrarse is everyday gladness. The psalm stacks them, joy on top of gladness, for one day.
