Romans 12:2 in Spanish (Romanos 12:2)

Two commands facing each other: no se conformen, do not be conformed, and refórmense, be transformed. The whole verse hangs between those two verbs.

Here it is complete in the Reina-Valera with the English underneath, read aloud by a real voice at full speed and slow.

Common questions

How do you say be transformed by the renewing of your mind in Spanish?+

"refórmense por la renovación de su entendimiento." Renovación is renewal, and entendimiento is the mind or understanding.

Why does the Spanish say siglo instead of mundo?+

Siglo literally means century, and the old Reina-Valera uses it for "this present age": the world's way of thinking right now. It is a sharper picture than mundo, and the verse's point is not to be squeezed into this age's mold.
