Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Christian Languages (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Christian Languages is a faith-based language-learning app that teaches Spanish through Scripture, with a short reflection closing each lesson.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping access to your email secure. Please provide accurate information when you sign up.

Subscriptions and billing

• Your first lesson is free.
• Continued access requires a subscription, billed through Stripe: $17 per month, or $99 per year where the annual plan is offered.
• Your subscription renews automatically each billing period until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime. Your access continues through the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again after that.
• Our 30 day promise: if you are not satisfied within your first 30 days, email support@christianlanguages.com and we will refund your payment in full.
• After the first 30 days, and except where required by law, payments are non-refundable for partial billing periods.

Scripture and content

The Spanish text is the Reina-Valera (1909) and the English text is the King James Version, both in the public domain. The app’s lessons, word glosses, audio, design, and other materials are owned by us and provided for your personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy, scrape, or resell them.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt to access it in unauthorized ways, or share your access in violation of these Terms.

Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
